租来的水泥船是靠柴油机动力前进的，船老大绝不允许我们将手脚伸向水面，我们只能用手去抓船两边溅起的水花。水很清，可以清楚地见到前方小鱼因惊吓而跳跃。河的两旁长满水草，水草旁边隐约可见长长的长方形捕鱼网。河面慢慢变宽，右前方隐约出现一片荷叶，但未见荷花，船老大解释说：荷花被人摘了。船继续向左行驶，不一会，眼前出现了大片荷叶，近处清楚可见白色、粉色、紫色荷花，只听船老大说：两个小娃娃每人只可采摘一朵。

返回的路上我闷闷不乐，只怪船老大多事，荷花又不是他家的。爸爸说：如果每人路过都采摘，你今天能见到这美丽的荷花吗?
